Pebble Mine developers sue EPA

NEW YORK Developers of the Pebble Mine copper-gold-molybdenum project in Alaska have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency seeking an injunction to suspend an EPA review of the project, the developers said May 22.
The Pebble Limited Partnership, which is fully owned by Vancouver, British Columbia-based miner Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd., has filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in Alaska alleging that the EPA overstepped its authority by reviewing the project under the Clean Water Act before developers had formally submitted permits.....
