LME to contest zinc price manipulation suit

NEW YORK The London Metal Exchange will "vigorously" contest a lawsuit filed against the exchange by Duncan Galvanizing Corp., which alleges anti-competitive and monopolistic behavior in the warehousing market in connection with zinc prices.
The LME and parent company Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. (HKEx) have been named as co-defendants in the lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for southern New York, HKEx said.....
