North Star BlueScope kicks tires on DRI

CHICAGO North Star BlueScope Steel LLC is mulling a direct-reduced iron (DRI) plant as it casts a more critical eye toward its raw materials strategy, a company executive said.
"Were like a lot of steel companies. Were out there looking at our raw materials and looking at possibilities, and that includes DRI," Richard Menzel, the companys vice president of human resources, said.....
