HSS prices steady, demand said good

NEW YORK — Structural tubing prices east of the Rockies are holding steady, market sources said, noting that demand is solid and hot-rolled coil tags remain at comparatively high levels despite a slight dip recently.

AMM’s assessment for hollow structural sections (HSS) remains at $970 per ton, a level achieved last month following price increases by domestic mills.....
