OCTG sentiment improves as prices rise in May

NEW YORK Oil country tubular goods (OCTG) prices jumped to a seven-month high in May, boosting market sentiment in the process.
"The distributors sentiment index is 58 in May, indicating a slightly expanding marketplace. While imports continue to weigh on the market, all other aspects ... are improving," Kurt Minnich, manager of Tulsa, Okla.-based Pipe Logix LLC, said in a statement.....
