Samuel to add cut-to-length line, levelers

NEW YORK Steel distributor and processor Samuel, Son & Co. Ltd. will invest Canadian $16 million ($14.7 million) to expand its Winnipeg, Manitoba, facility, installing a new cut-to-length line, stretcher leveler and precision leveler over the next 12 months.
The 25,000-square-foot expansion will add a Bradbury cut-to-length line, which will process product from coil up to 0.5-inch thick by 96 inches wide in lengths up to 50 feet, the Mississauga, Ontario-based company said May 30. ....
