CHICAGO — RTI International Metals Inc. has acquired titanium and titanium-alloy components producer Dynamet Technology Inc. for $15.5 million in cash to help boost its powder materials capabilities.

The Pittsburgh-based titanium and specialty metals products supplier plans to fold Dynamet Technology into its titanium segment and could pay additional cash for the company in the future, according to a June 3 release announcing the....
