Avanti, Nisga’a Nation sign Kitsault mine deal

NEW YORK Avanti Mining Inc. has signed an agreement with the Nisgaa Nation covering the Kitsault molybdenum mine project in northwestern British Columbia.
The agreement will address a number of outstanding Nisgaa concerns with respect to environmental protection, provide economic benefits to the Nisgaa Nationincluding a net smelter royalty of up to 2 percent, based on prevailing molybdenum pricesand resolve all outstanding litigation, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said.....
