Qingdao iron ore shipments continue

LONDON Iron ore shipments from Qingdao in China have been largely unaffected by an investigation into metal trade finance irregularities at the port, sources told AMM sister publication Steel First June 3.
While unconfirmed reports suggested that iron ore owned by a small trading company had been affected, sources said that shipments of iron ore were leaving the port.
The "Qingdao (port authority) denied blocking shipments of iron ore," a Shanghai trader said.
A source at an iron ore miner said that shipments to its Chinese mill customers from Qingdao hadnt been interrupted by the probe.....
