Codelco removes Keller as chief after dispute

NEW YORK — Chile’s state-owned Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco) has ousted chief executive officer Thomas Keller.

The company’s board removed Keller after an extraordinary meeting June 6 that lasted more than five hours. Five members were in favor of his removal, three members opposed and one abstained, according to a filing with the country’s securities and insurance regulator, SVS. ....
