NEW YORK Teck Resources Ltd. wont exercise its option to build an effluent pipeline from its Red Dog zinc and lead mine in Alaska to the Chukchi Sea.
An engineering, geotechnical and environmental study of Red Dog was conducted as a result of a 2008 settlement agreement and consent decree, which resolved litigation under the Clean Water Act. Teck will pay a civil....
