Central Steel accuses former exec of taking data

NEW YORK Central Steel & Wire Co. employees have been told to watch for indications that a former executive may have exploited the companys confidential trade data, according to an internal memo obtained by AMM.
Joseph Bonnema, former director of corporate inside sales and training at Chicago-based Central Steel & Wire (CS&W), allegedly copied proprietary company dataincluding pricing, customers and marketingbefore joining metals distributor A.M. Castle & Co. in January, according to the May 28 memo and a lawsuit filed Jan. 23 in Cook County (Ill.) Circuit Court.
"Joe Bonnema had been in employment discussions with A.M. Castle personnel for over six months and used his personal e-mail account to pass CS&W documents to (A.M. Castle) personnel," according to the memo from CS&W chief executive officer Michael J. Sullivan to the companys sales and purchasing employees.....
