Stainless scrap pricing trends lower

NEW YORK Stainless scrap prices continued to slip this week, with scrap industry participants noting a settled market with less "froth and frenzy."
AMMs broker/processor buying prices decreased for nickel-bearing austenitic grades June 16, with Type 316 solids falling to $2,525 to $2,555 per tonne from $2,530 to $2,575 previously, Type 304 solids dropping to $1,860 to $1,880 per tonne from $1,880 to $1,925 and Type 304 turnings dipping to $1,660 to $1,700 per tonne from $1,680 to $1,725.....
