Rail metal theft bill awaits Pa. governor’s OK

NEW YORK A Pennsylvania law intended to prevent the sale of stolen railroad metal has passed both houses of the state legislature and is awaiting the signature of Gov. Tom Corbett.
The legislation, sponsored primarily by Republican Sen. David G. Argall, will restrict railroad metal scrap sales to commercial accounts and create a statewide registry of scrap processors and recycling facilities.....
