U.S. Steel dropped from S&P 500 index

CHICAGO U.S. Steel Corp. is being dropped from the S&P 500 index because its market capitalization is too small.
The Pittsburgh-based steelmaker will be replaced on the index July 1 by Raleigh, N.C.-based construction materials company Martin Marietta Materials Inc., S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC said.....
