ITA sets subsidies on China wire rod

NEW YORK The U.S. Commerce Departments International Trade Administration (ITA) has imposed preliminary subsidy rates ranging from 10.3 to 81.36 percent on imports of carbon steel wire rod from China.
Hebei Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., one of the countrys largest steel producers, received a preliminary subsidy rate of 81.36 percent, while Benxi Beiying Iron & Steel Group Import & Export Corp., Benxi Beiying Iron & Steel Group Co. Ltd. and 13 affiliates, along with all other Chinese wire rod producers, received a preliminary subsidy rate of 10.3....
