Leggett & Platt to acquire Tempur assets

NEW YORK Diversified manufacturer Leggett & Platt Inc. is acquiring Tempur Sealy International Inc.s three U.S. innerspring component production facilities for $48 million, the companies said July 1.
Lexington, Ky.-based Tempur Sealy, one of the worlds largest bedding providers, is exiting production of innerspring components in the United States with the sale, the company said. Tempur Sealy and Carthage, Mo.-based Leggett & Platt also struck a supplier deal, in which Leggett will....
