SBQ prices trending upward, further hikes possible

NEW YORK Special bar quality (SBQ) prices have picked up following recent base price hikes by domestic mills, with more base price increases likely to follow if scrap weakens this month.
"(The existing hikes) are sticking, and if scrap capitulates and goes down, theyre going to announce another," one Midwest bar distributor source said.....
