ATI pushing back stainless steel price increase to Aug.

NEW YORK Allegheny Technologies Inc.s (ATIs) Flat Rolled Products segment has pushed back a stainless steel base price increase for the second time in three months, with its previously announced July hike now scheduled to take effect Aug. 4.
Pittsburgh-based ATI announced last month that it would raise base prices across a variety of grades and product forms effective July 7 (amm.com, June 16). It was followed by similar announcements from West Chester, Ohio-based AK Steel Corp. (amm.com, June 24) and Calvert, Ala.-based Outokumpu Stainless USA LLC (amm.com, June 26).....
