Sapa adding muscle in India, Vietnam

NEW YORK Global aluminum solutions supplier Sapa Group is expanding its footprint in Asia with major capital investments in India and Vietnam.
"Having a local presence in India is in line with our business strategy," Salvador Biosca, executive vice president responsible for Sapas precision tubing business, said in a statement. "We are following our customers."
Oslo, Norway-based Sapa, which currently serves multiport extrusion and tubing customers in India from its plant in Suzhou, China, is installing an aluminum extrusion press in Kuppam, about 60 miles from Bangalore in southeastern India. The value of the investment was not disclosed.....
