Scrap exports not impacted by port strike

NEW YORK Unionized truck drivers at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, Calif., declared an indefinite strike July 7, alleging unfair labor practices in the use of independent contractors.
However, the strike by members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters remains relatively small and has not impacted scrap exports so far, sources familiar with the matter said.....
