Former Omni executive joins e-cycling market

PITTSBURGH A former OmniSource Corp. executive has entered the electronics scrap recycling industry in South Carolina.
Michael Munafo, one of the founders of the Carolinas Recycling Group LLC (CRG), which was bought by OmniSource, has opened Electronic Asset Recycling LLC in Greenville, S.C., along with his sons, Cary and Peyton.
"I was happy to be home playing with the grandkids, but my sons pulled me out of retirement," said Munafo, who served as chief financial officer of OmniSources Southeast division until his retirement in 2012.....
