MTI expanding capabilities with 1,200-ton forming press

LOS ANGELES Metal Technology Inc. (MTI) has installed a 1,200-ton press at its Albany, Ore., facility that will expand its deep-draw and forming capabilities for titanium and other metals.
The machining and forming specialistwhich also works with exotic metals such as tantalum, zirconium and niobium, as well as more-conventional metalshas rebuilt a Dominion Engineering forming press to its own specifications, including computer numerical control. ....
