Conbraco denies violating alloy patents

NEW YORK Conbraco Industries Inc. is asking a federal court in North Carolina to rule that it has not violated two patents for copper alloys held by Mitsubishi Shindoh Co. Ltd.
The Matthews, N.C.-based manufacturer of brass valves and fittings claims that Mitsubishi Shindoh intended to strengthen its competitive position in the U.S. marketplace through "intimidation" of Conbraco by alleging infringement of its patents, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in North Carolina. ....
