Lundin's Eagle project delivers first ore shipment

NEW YORK Lundin Mining Corp. has delivered the first mine-to-mill ore shipment at its Eagle nickel-copper mine in Michigan, with the project remaining well on schedule for concentrate production later this year, it said July 16.
Ore shipments to the mill commenced in early July as scheduled, after the city commission in Marquette, Mich., approved an ore haulage route agreement, the Toronto-based company said. Commencement and ramp-up of concentrate production at the Eagle project is expected by....
