Amerigo misses 2d-qtr. copper output target

NEW YORK Copper miner Amerigo Resources Ltd. failed to meet its copper output target in the second quarter due to lower grades for both old and fresh tailings at its Minera Valle Central Mine in Chile.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company produced 9.34 million pounds of copper in the second quarter, down 15.3 percent from 11.03 million pounds in the same period last year, while molybdenum output fell 13.6 percent to 152,000....
