Freeport to resume exports from Grasberg Mine

NEW YORK Freeport-McMoRan Inc. has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indonesian government allowing it to resume copper concentrate exports from its Grasberg Mine.
The Phoenix-based companys Indonesian subsidiary, PT Freeport Indonesia Tbk (PT-FI), will begin full production immediately and resume concentrate exports in August.
The deal marks an end to a six-month halt in concentrate exports from Grasberg following the implementation of new mineral regulations in Indonesia.....
