Mississippi Silicon, Rima undeterred by lawsuit

NEW YORK Mississippi Silicon LLC and Rima Industrial SA said they are proceeding with the construction of a silicon metal production facility in Mississippi "without delay," despite another lawsuit filed by a subsidiary of Globe Specialty Metals Inc.
Globe Metallurgical Inc. has accused Mississippi Silicon, Bocaiúva, Brazil-based Rima and Birmingham, Ala.-based Polymet Alloys Inc. of "criminal and otherwise unlawful actions ... that have enabled Rima to evade U.S. anti-dumping laws while dumping silicon metal imported from Brazil in the U.S. market at unfairly low prices," having in 2005 "successfully conspired to obtain revocation of a Commerce Department anti-dumping order through a series of willful and intentional misrepresentations," according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia.....
