Deacero mulls wire rod ruling appeal

NEW YORK — Mexican steelmaker Deacero SAPI de CV and subsidiary Deacero USA Inc. could appeal the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) decision to continue anti-dumping duties on imports of wire rod from Mexico, according to a legal filing.

"Deacero and Deacero USA plan to seek judicial review in the U.S. Court of International Trade to contest the notice of continuation of the anti-dumping order covering steel wire rod from Mexico," attorneys at New York-based law firm White & Case LLP, who are representing the companies, said in a July 23 filing addressed to North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta) officials.....
