Dofasco plans $50.4M galvanizing line upgrade

CHICAGO ArcelorMittal Dofasco Inc. plans to invest Canadian $55 million ($50.4 million) to upgrade its No. 4 galvanizing line to produce galvanized and Galvalume products.
The Hamilton, Ontario-based steelmaker, part of Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal SA, said the projectwhich includes a dual-pot configurationis expected to be completed in early 2016, vice president of commercial Brad Davey said in an Aug. 1 letter....
