Construction weakness slims Gibraltar’s net

NEW YORK Residential and industrial products maker Gibraltar Industries Inc. saw lackluster growth in the second quarter due to weakness in residential construction markets, company executives said.
Second-quarter net income eased 16.8 percent year on year to $6.4 million for the three months ended June 30 despite revenue that rose 4.7 percent to nearly $235 million, according to the company's earnings results.
Revenue from the Buffalo, N.Y.-based companys residential products segment rose 6.3 percent to $117.4 million in the same comparison.....
