Lead battery price outlook dims

NEW YORK Lead battery demand is expected to be weaker than expected this fall, as intense summer heatwhich usually puts stress on automotive batterieshas failed to materialize.
"A mild summer is usually not a good sign," one trader source told AMM. "The Northeast has been at 80 to 85 degrees and there havent been too many 90 to 95 degree days. Those are the days that cause battery malfunctions and require batteries to be replaced."....
