USS’ Edgar Thomson outage said delayed

CHICAGO U.S. Steel Corp. reportedly has delayed a planned maintenance outage at its Edgar Thomson plant in Braddock, Pa., according to sources familiar with the matter.
The Pittsburgh-based steelmaker had initially expected to start a 57-day outage in August to reline Edgar Thomsons No. 1 blast furnace, sources said. The company now expects to begin early stages of the maintenance campaign Aug. 15, with the full outage taking place in the first week of September, they said.....
