Ryerson slashes price range of IPO

NEW YORK Ryerson Holding Corp. has slashed the proposed price range for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) to $11 to $12 per share, the company said in a revision to its preliminary prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Aug. 7.
Ryerson, the parent company of Chicago-based metals distributor Ryerson Inc., announced terms last month for an offering of 11 million shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at a price range of $17 to $20 per share (amm.com, July 25).....
