Comex drop drives copper scrap market pause

NEW YORK Spreads on some grades of copper scrap widened this week despite a nearly 8-cent-per-pound drop in terminal market prices, market sources told AMM.
"Bare bright (spreads) have widened out a bit as there doesnt seem to be as much need for it right now," one scrap dealer said. "There have been a lot of shutdowns and people on vacation at the large mills."....
