Higher sales boost Capstone Mining profits

NEW YORK Capstone Mining Corp.s earnings jumped in the second quarter thanks to higher sales from its Pinto Valley project in Arizona and consistent sales from its Cozamin Mine in Mexicos Zacatecas state and the Minto Mine in Yukon.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company posted net income of nearly $16.6 million for the three months ended June 30, up 79.3 percent from $9.2 million in the same period last year, on sales that nearly tripled to $171.7 million.....
