First Nickel trims loss as sales, output improve

NEW YORK First Nickel Inc. (FNI) narrowed its net loss as sales strengthened in the second quarter due to increased ore and contained nickel production, as well as higher shipments.
The Toronto-based companys net loss was Canadian $874,273 ($797,731) for the quarter ended June 30, down 94.7 percent from a C$16.5-million loss in the same period last year, on revenue that rose 43.5 percent to C$21.5 million ($19.6....
