West Coast mills lift flat-rolled steel prices

LOS ANGELES West Coast flat-rolled steel producers are looking to boost prices as buyers gauge the possible impact that a trade case by domestic mills would have on the region.
USS-Posco Industries Inc. (UPI), Pittsburg, Calif., notified customers Aug. 13 that it was raising base prices by $25 per ton ($1.25 per hundredweight) on hot-rolled pickled and oiled, cold-rolled and galvanized sheet effective immediately.....
