AARP joins suit vs. Spirit Aerosystems

LOS ANGELES An age and medical discrimination complaint filed against Spirit AeroSystems Inc. by its largest white-collar union has been joined by an affiliate of AARP Inc.
The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) has "welcomed" AARP Foundation Litigation as a participant in pursuing the unions claim that Spirit terminated hundreds of employees last year "because they were older and they, or a family member, had a costly medical condition."....
