Expliseat wins award for light airline seat

LOS ANGELES Expliseat SAS has won the International Titanium Associations (ITAs) application development award for a new commercial airline seat that the company claims weighs one-third the amount of conventional seats.
The Paris-based company, which claims to manufacture the lightest commercial aircraft seat ever certified, will receive the associations Titanium Application Development Award in Chicago Sept. 23 during ITAs annual conference.....
