Plymouth Tube to close Wisconsin facility

NEW YORK — Plymouth Tube Co. is planning to permanently shutter a plant in East Troy, Wis., starting in mid-October.

The Warrenville, Ill.-based company said that weak market conditions for coal-fired power generation in the United States and a desire to consolidate operations contributed to Plymouth’s decision to close its CWA plant, which makes fusion-welded stainless steel tubing for the electric power, chemical, petrochemical and other markets.....
