W. Coast tubing prices stabilize after declines

LOS ANGELES Structural steel tubing prices remain flat on the West Coast and show little sign of rising after falling earlier this summer.
Prices for core sizes of A500 Grade B hollow structural sections (HSS) sold to medium to large distributors in the Los Angeles market are reported at $960 to $990 per ton ($48 to $49.50 per hundredweight) for quantities up to a truckload, or about 20 tons, depending on the buyer.
