Totall Metal Recycling shuts plant after blast

NEW YORK Totall Metal Recyclings Granite City, Ill., plant will be closed Aug. 26 while law enforcement continues an investigation into an explosion that killed two employees and injured another, a company spokeswoman said.
"Although tragic, (the) incident did not damage our facilities and will not interfere with our ability to serve the needs of our customers," she said, adding that the Granite City-based company intends to resume operations Aug. 27.....
