Florida bulk export market to see new player

NEW YORK Competition for bulk ferrous scrap exports out of Florida is set to intensify next month as one more company readies for launch.
Until late last year, Florida housed just one bulk exporterthe former OneSteel Recycling Inc. facility in Tampa, which was acquired this year by Cincinnati-based David J. Joseph Co. (amm.com, Apr. 25).
However, late last year New York-based Stemcor USA Inc.s joint venture with Stonerock Shipping Corp. in Riviera Beach gave Florida its second bulk player (amm.com, Nov. 15, 2013), and now the state is set to have its third: Port Canaveral Scrap Terminal LLC, out of Port Canaveral.....
