Japanese brass maker files counterclaim in patent suit

NEW YORK Mitsubishi Shindoh Co. Ltd. has filed a counterclaim against brass valves maker Conbraco Industries Inc., alleging that the company is using a patent lawsuit in an effort to exhaust inventories of the products in question.
"Conbraco intends to delay this case so that the infringing products will no longer be available at retail stores or from Conbraco by the time discovery formally commences in this action," Mitsubishi said in documents filed in U.S. District Court in North Carolina. ....
