Aluminum billet upcharges hold firm as demand climbs

NEW YORK Increased demand for aluminum billet could spur significant bumps in upcharges for material shipped in early fall, according to market participants.
AMMs assessed 6063 extrusion billet upcharges held steady at 13.25 to 13.75 cents per pound, although some producers said they had transacted "specialized deals" at around 14 cents per pound.....
