Thomas Blondel has joined Nizi International as a product manager, Metal Bulletin understands.
He joined the Luxembourg-based trading house in February and is selling ferro-silicon and ferro-manganese.
He is also responsible for sourcing and selling manganese metal.
Blondel left Bright Sun Metals, the UK trading arm of Chinese nickel supplier Ningbo Sunhu, last summer before working on a short-term consultancy project for an Italian company, looking at options for expanding ferro-alloys sourcing.
He previously worked as commercial manager for Xstrata Nickel.
