MB APEX Q1 2012: Gold

Chris LaFemina, of Jefferies, and Nick Moore, of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), took joint first place on the Metal Bulletin Apex leaderboard for their gold price predictions for the first quarter of 2012.




The Metal Bulletin Apex leaderboard shows which analysts were most accurate in their predictions for prices on the London Metal Exchange. Click on the leaderboard to expand.

LaFemina and Moore both achieved 99.5% accuracy for their price predictions, followed by Heath Jansen and David Wilson, of Citigroup, in third, and Numis and Scotiabank in joint fourth.

In a closely fought contest, the Citigroup team came out at 98.1% accuracy, while Numis and Scotiabank scored 97.6%.
