NEW YORK — ATI Allegheny Ludlum Corp., a division of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI), has cut its grain-oriented electrical steel surcharge to $404 per ton ($20.20 per hundredweight) effective with June 1 shipments, down 5.6 percent from $428 per ton ($21.40 per cwt) in May.
