Brazil’s welded steel pipe producer TenarisConfab has restructured its senior team and ceo Túlio César do Couto Chipoletti, will now take direct control of finance and investor relations, the company said on Monday May 7.
In a filing with the São Paulo Stock Exchange, Bovespa, the company said Marcelo Héctor Barreiro, who had been finance and investor relations director since the middle of 2004, will now “perform duties in another associated company” of Confab’s group, the pipemaker said.
Luis Marcos Fazanaro has replaced Emyr Elias Berbare as executive vp for the equipment business, Confab noted.
Berbare has also assumed other new duties within the group, the company added.
Such management changes follow TenarisConfab’s successful $700 million offer to delist from Bovespa. http://bit.ly/KAylRj
